I'm in South Korea!!!
So, I got off my plane after a remarkably nice 13 hour flight where I had a nice guy named Lee to talk to next to me who is American and studying abroad. The flight attendants were also very accommodating so good job Continental/United. I will say there was a moment of turbulence in about the middle of the flight that completely freaked me out. Anonymous asked: Hi Chelsea, wow, sounds a little challenging there with the bags and all. Hope all is going well this morning, that you're all checked in for your flight to South Korea and ready to board a plane that will really begin your new adventure. Here’s the problem, I already bought my plane ticket for a very real $1050. I am not about to pay another thousand I don’t have for a second ticket I don’t need. So I did a little...

Project Hometown
I’m leaving to teach English in South Korea in one week. Count it, ONE WEEK, and I’ll be there for one year! I’m trying to decide if I should start packing now, spend the next week cramming Korean into my brain furiously, stocking up on American products and experiences, hugging my friends and family 24/7, or a combination of everything plus so much more. It’s a bit crazy...
